Betting has been done for years, so it's no surprise that players have started to put unique names on their betting strategy to make them easier to learn. Here are some of the most common betting names and their strategies.
Inside Bet
Any bet that takes place on the inner area of a table is referred to as an inside bet.
Outside Bet
This type of bet is the exact opposite of the inside bet. Players place a bet on the numbers closest to them and on the outside of the grid.
Classic Bet
This bet is also known as a "straight bet." With this bet, you are wagering that you will be able to predict what the next number in the sequence will be. Say for example that the odds are 25 to 1. If you place a $10 classic bet, you may earn $250 just by placing this bet. At the came time, this type of bet can be the hardest to achieve.
Two Number Bet
Also referred to as a "split bet," this bet has the player place a bet on two numbers. This way, if either of the numbers win, the player will be paid 17 to 1 odds. A person who wagers $10 will earn $170 if either of their numbers hits.
Three Number Bet
The street bet, aka the three number bet, is just like the two number bet. Instead of betting on two numbers, a player chooses three numbers. The winning odds that are paid are 11 to one.
Four Number Bet
Sometimes called the "square bet," this bet places four wagers on different numbers. While the rate of success increases, the player is only paid eight to one odds.
Five Number Bet
Like the other four before it, the five number bet has players place a bet on five different numbers. The payout for this type of wager is six to one.
Red or Black
Players can also bet based off of color. By choosing Red or Black, the player is then paid the simple payout of one to one.
Odd or Even
Just like betting based off of color, a player can choose to bet on either odd or even numbers. These bets payout the same as the red or black wager, meaning it is one to one.
High or Low Bet
A high or low bet is determined by which half of the table a player takes. If they take the first half, 1 to 18, it is a low bet while the remaining half equals a high bet.
Dozen Bet
Finally, a dozen bet has players bet on 12 numbers, with a 2 to 1 payout.
